A quote for your article

"New leases are rising almost four times faster than the legal cap. With rents from real contracts, not listing prices, we want landlords to know how much they can ask and update, and tenants to know whether they are paying a fair price. That is the role of a trusted third party in Portuguese renting."

Lisbon, 7 October 2026. The median rent on new rental contracts in Portugal reached €10.17/m² in the second quarter of 2026, up 10.2% year on year, according to INE.
